  • Best Known As - Host of daytime TV's The Ellen DeGeneres Show
  • Height- 5 ft 7 in(170 cm)
  • Years Active - 1981-present
  • Spouse - Portia Derossi (2008-present)
Some of Ellen's Accomplishements:
  • In 1982 Ellen won Showtime's Funniest Person in America Contest.
  • In 1986 she appeared on the Johnny Carson show and was the only female comedian to be invited to sit on the "couch" with Johnny after only one appearance.
  • Ellen twice hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards
  • Ellen hosted the 79th Academy Awards Sunday, February 25, 2007
  • Ellen authored two books: My Point, And I do Have One (1995) and The Funny Thing Is... (2003).
